[NCE]182. Genesis 3
Our Entry, Once Revived, into Eternal Life (Continued)
WHEN heavenly angels are present with the revived, they do not leave them; they love each one. But if our soul is such that we can no longer enjoy the company of heavenly angels, we long to get away from them, at which point spiritual angels arrive and give us the gift of light. Until then, we do not have the use of our sight, only of our thoughts.

Potts(1905-1910) 182

182. CHAPTER 3 CONTINUATION CONCERNING THE ENTRANCE INTO ETERNAL LIFE OF THOSE WHO ARE RAISED FROM THE DEAD. When the celestial angels are with a resuscitated person, they do not leave him, for they love everyone; but when the soul is of such a character that he can no longer be in the company of the celestial angels, he is eager to depart from them; and when this takes place the spiritual angels arrive, and give him the use of light, for previously he had seen nothing, but had only thought.

Elliott(1983-1999) 182

182. THE ENTRY INTO ETERNAL LIFE OF ONE WHO HAS BEEN AWAKENED - continued

Once celestial angels are present with a person who has been awakened they do not leave him, for they love everybody. But when a soul is such as cannot bear to be with celestial angels any longer, he longs to get away from them. When this happens spiritual angels arrive who provide him with the benefit of light, for up to that point he has not been spectator to anything but merely engaged in thought.
