Divine Love and Wisdom #26 (Dole (2003))

26. Since the whole heaven and everything in it depend on a single God, it is the nature of angelic speech to come to a close in a particular harmony that flows from heaven's own harmony. This is a sign that it is impossible for angels to think of more than one God. Their speech follows from their thought.

Divine Love and Wisdom #26 (Rogers (1999))

26. Since the whole of heaven and all the constituents of heaven are connected to the one God, therefore the nature of angelic speech is such that through a harmony flowing from the harmony of heaven it ends in unison - evidence that it is impossible for angels to think of any but one God, for speech is an expression of thought.

Divine Love and Wisdom #26 (Harley and Harley (1969))

26. Since the whole heaven and all the things of heaven have relation to one God, so angelic speech is of such a nature that, by a certain harmony flowing from the harmony of heaven, it terminates in a unity [of expression]. This is a sign that it is impossible for angels to think otherwise of God than as One, for speech is from thought.

Divine Love and Wisdom #26 (Ager (1890))

26. Because the whole heaven and all things of heaven have relation to one God, angelic speech is such that by a certain unison flowing from the unison of heaven it closes in a single cadence - a proof that it is impossible for the angels to think otherwise than of one God; for speech is from thought.

De Divino Amore et de Divina Sapientia #26 (original Latin,1763)
