1338. How many of my acquaintances there were, with whom I spoke
Of those who had been known to me in life and died there are about 30 with whom I have spoken, and 30 known to me from the Word of the Lord.
1338. THE NUMBER OF THOSE KNOWN TO ME WITH WHOM I HAVE SPOKEN
I have spoken with about 30 persons who had been well known to me in their lifetime, and who are dead; and also with 30 of those who are known from the Lord's Word.
1338. Quot fuerant, cum quibus loquutus ex cognitis 1
Qui in vita mihi cogniti fuerant 2
, et mortui sunt 30 circiter, cum quibus loquutus, et 30, qui in Verbo Domini, sunt noti.
