1798. About the punishments of those who constitute the stagnating fluids in the brain
The fluids that accumulate in the brain are chiefly of three kinds. The first, which is the thickest, is what flows under the dura mater, or between the meninges, and is forced from the whole extent of that membrane toward the sieve-like layer.
1798. CONCERNING THE PUNISHMENTS OF THOSE WHO REPRESENT STAGNANT HUMOURS IN THE BRAIN.
The humours which stagnate in the brain are mainly of a threefold kind; the first, which is the most gross, is that which flows under the dura mater, or between the meninges, and is forced through its circuit, towards the laminam cribrosam (sieve-like membrane).
1798. De poenis eorum, qui referunt humores stagnantes in cerebro
Humores, qui in cerebro stagnant, sunt imprimis triplicis generis, primum, quod crassissimum 1
est, est quod sub dura matre, seu inter meninges fluit, et adigitur ab omni ejus ambitu, versus laminam cribrosam.
