Spiritual Experiences (Odhner and Nemitz translation 1998) 2118

2118. They were then also able to see at the same time everything within or outside of the human mind-its thoughts or general and particular ideas, and more besides-so clearly that a person would never be willing to believe it. The rest I can hardly put into words, for they say that they see more than they dare to admit, because there are most filthy things within me, and these appear as clearly as anything can be. 1748, 29 May.

Spiritual Experiences (Buss translation 1902) 2118

2118. At the same time could they also then see whatever was within or without, very manifestly whatever was in the human mind, its thoughts, or ideas common and singular, and many things which man never wishes to believe. I can scarce declare the rest, for they say that they see more than they dare acknowledge, because there were the basest things in me, which appear so manifestly that nothing can be more so. - 1748, May 29.

Experientiae Spirituales 2118 (original Latin 1748-1764)

1748, 29 Maj.
