Spiritual Experiences (Odhner and Nemitz translation 1998) 2629

2629. Therefore, since their every mental image and least element of thought and action has such a series of consequences, just like a seed, and is like the parent of the things that follow, and these seeds come forth at every moment of their life, it is clear from this that it is pure necessities by which a person is led, that is, the best elements relative to the state and the condition in which the person is.

Spiritual Experiences (Buss translation 1902) 2629

2629. and hence new seeds and so forth. Since therefore every idea whatever [pertaining] to him, and the least of [his] thought and action, has such a series of consequents like a sort [some] of seed, and is, as it were, a parent of consequents, and such things exist every moment of his life, it may hence be manifest that there are mere necessities whereby he is led, that is, that they are his bests as regards his state and the condition in which man is.

Experientiae Spirituales 2629 (original Latin 1748-1764)

2629. [vide 2628]
