3770. This shows that they cannot be removed from this their profane worship, both because such a profane enjoyment is most pleasant to them, and because they are indoctrinated in the opinion that the holy spirit speaks through them. And since they have rejected all conscience [that would admonish them] that such practices are abominable beyond anything ever, they cannot be instructed by others, whom they despise and ridicule, saying they do not understand [their ways].
3770. It hence appears that they cannot be divorced from this their profane kind of worship, both because such a profane voluptuousness is delightful to them, and because they are held in the opinion that the Holy Spirit speaks through them, and inasmuch as they have cast off all conscience [which would admonish them], that such things are supremely abominable, they cannot be instructed by others, but despise and ridicule them, and say that they do not understand [what they teach].
3770. Inde constat quod a tali eorum prophano cultu non possint removeri, tam quia voluptas talis prophana iis jucundissima sit: tum quia tenentur in opinione quod spiritus sanctus per eos loquatur; et quia omnem conscientiam rejecerunt, quod talia sint abominabiliora quam usquam alia, non possunt ab aliis instrui, sed eos contemnunt, rident, et se dicunt non intelligere.
