From much experience I have been instructed that whatever mental image of thought there was, and whatever mental image from knowledge, or whatever matter of knowledge, the sirens, when they call it forth from a person, turn into magic with the purpose of ruling, and of destroying all others, and of rescuing the infernals. They also entered into my knowledge of the internal organs, and attempted from there to practice magical arts without my knowing it; but they were severely punished.
