5427. The process of their being cast down was seen first toward the eastern region, from the southern to the northern, then toward the northern, and then also somewhat toward the western region; and this took place on the level of the earth there.
[5427] 1/2. In their place those came up who had affection for truth for the sake of truth and had been kept safe by the Lord for this time, because angelic wisdom could be given to them and passed on, and not to others.
5427. Their casting down was at first seen from south to north towards the eastern quarter; afterwards, towards the northern; then, also, somewhat towards the western; and it took place on to the surface of the earth in that part.
5427a. In their place, ascended those who have been in the affection of truth for the sake of truth, and were reserved by the Lord to this time; for angelic wisdom can be given and communicated to those, but not to others.
5427. Dejectio eorum primum visa versus orientalem plagam a meridionali ad septentrionalem, dein versus septentrionalem, tum quoque aliquantum versus occidentalem; et hoc in terram planam ibi.
[5[427] 1/2. Loco eorum ascenderunt qui in affectione veri propter verum fuerunt reservati a Domino hoc tempus, nam illis sapientia angelica dari communicari potest non aliis.
