第六诫 不可奸淫


  313.就属世之义而言,这条诫命不仅表示不可奸淫,还表示不可意愿和行出淫秽之事,不可思想和谈论淫荡的话题。只是有淫欲就算是奸淫了,这一点从主的话明显可知:
  你们听见有话说:“不可奸淫。”只是我告诉你们,凡看见妇女就动淫念的,这人心里已经与她犯奸淫了。(马太福音5:2728
  这是因为,当淫欲进入意愿时,它可以说变成行为了。诱惑只是进入理解力,而意图则进入意愿;淫欲的意图就是一种行为。有关该话题的更多内容,可见于《婚姻之爱与淫乱之爱》(1768年发表于阿姆斯特丹)。其中就讲到:淫乱之爱是婚姻的对立面(423-443节);关于奸淫(444-460节);奸淫及其种类和等级(478-499节);奸污处女的淫欲(501-505节);追求变化的淫欲(506-510节);强奸的淫欲(511,512节);诱奸纯真者的淫欲(513,514节);淫乱之爱和婚姻之爱的报应(523-531节)。所有上述观念都是这条诫命所涉及的属世之义。

313. 第六誡 不可姦淫就屬世之義而言, 此誡涉及的不僅是通姦, 還包括有淫念並去實行, 以及沉溺於淫穢的思想和言辭。從下列主的言語可看出, 有淫欲也算行邪淫了:你們聽見有話說:"不可姦淫。"只是我告訴你們, 凡看見婦女就動淫念的, 這人心裡已經與她犯姦淫了(馬太福音5:27-28)。

這是因為, 當淫欲進入人的意志時, 就變成事實上的行為了。誘惑只是進入人的認知之中, 而圖謀則進入人的意志當中; 基於淫欲的圖謀其實是行為。

313. The Sixth Commandment

You Are Not to Commit Adultery

In its earthly meaning, this commandment covers not only committing adultery but also wanting to do and doing things that are obscene, and also having wanton thoughts and expressing them. As the Lord's words make clear, craving to commit adultery is committing adultery:

You have heard that it was said by the ancients, "You are not to commit adultery. " But I say to you that if a man looks at someone else's wife in such a way that he craves her, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:27-28)

The reason is that craving becomes a virtual deed when it is in the will. An attraction enters only our intellect, but an intention enters our will; and an intention based on a craving is a deed.

313. THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT

You are not to commit adultery.

In the natural sense, this commandment forbids not only committing adultery, but also having obscene desires and realising them, and so indulging in lascivious thoughts and talk. It is clear from these words of the Lord that even lusting is committing adultery:

You have heard that it was said by the men of old, You are not to commit adultery. But I say to you, that if anyone looks at another man's wife so as to lust after her, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart, Matthew 5:27-28.

The reason is that when lust is in the will, it becomes like a deed; for the enticement only enters the understanding, but the intention enters the will, and a lustful intention is a deed. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.

In the natural sense, this commandment means not only not to commit adultery, but it refers also to willing and doing obscene things and thinking and speaking about lascivious things. That merely to lust is to commit adultery, is evident from the Lord's words:

313. THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT

THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.

In the natural sense, this commandment means not only the committing of adultery, but also obscenity of will and conduct, and consequently impurity of thought and speech. That merely to lust is to commit adultery is evident from the words of the Lord:

"Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart" Matthew 5:27-28.

This is because lust, when in the will, acquires the nature of an act; for into the understanding enters allurement only, but into the will, intention; and the intention of lust is the deed.
