True Christianity #319 (Rose, 2010)

319. In the heavenly meaning, thieves stand for people who take divine power away from the Lord and people who claim the Lord's merit and justice for themselves. Even if these people worship God, they trust themselves, not him, and believe in themselves, not in him.

True Christian Religion #319 (Chadwick, 1988)

319. In the celestial sense thieves mean those who strip the Lord of His Divine power, and those who claim for themselves His merit and righteousness. Although these people worship God, yet it is not in Him they trust, but in themselves; and they do not either believe in God, but in themselves.

True Christian Religion #319 (Ager, 1970)

319. In the celestial sense, thieves mean those who take away from the Lord His Divine power; also those who claim for themselves His merit and righteousness. These, even if they adore God, still do not trust in Him but only in themselves, and also do not believe in God, but only in themselves.

True Christian Religion #319 (Dick, 1950)

319. In the celestial sense, thieves signify those who take away Divine power from the Lord; and also those who claim for themselves His merit and righteousness. Such men, even if they worship God, yet do not have faith in Him, but in themselves, nor do they believe on God, but on themselves.
