Potts(1905-1910) 1956

1956. Therefore she called the fountain. That this signifies the derivative state of truth, is evident from what has been said; and also from the signification of a fountain," as being truth (explained above, n. 1927). As this truth was not seen in the rational, but below the rational, the word in the original language that is here rendered "fountain" is a different word from that rendered "fountain" above, and from the common word for fountain.

Elliott(1983-1999) 1956

1956. 'Therefore she called the spring' means the resulting state of truth. This is clear from what has been stated and also from the meaning of 'a spring' as truth, dealt with above in 1927. Because this truth was not seen in the rational but below it, spring is here expressed in the original language by a different word from that which is used abovea and which is the common word for a spring.

@1 prius.$
