2289. CONCERNING THE STATE OF LITTLE CHILDREN IN THE OTHER LIFE. I have been given to know with certainty that all little children in the wide world who die, are raised again by the Lord and are taken up into heaven, and there are brought up and instructed among angels who have the care of them, and that they also grow up in proportion to their advance in intelligence and wisdom. From this we can see how immense is the Lord's heaven from little children alone; for they are all instructed in the truths of faith and in the goods of mutual love, and become angels.

2289. THE STATE OF YOUNG CHILDREN IN THE NEXT LIFE
I have been given to know for certain that all young children in any part of the world who die are raised up by the Lord and taken to heaven, where they are brought up and trained among angels who look after them, and where they grow to maturity as they advance in intelligence and wisdom. From this it becomes clear how vast the Lord's heaven is from young children alone; for all of them are taught about the truths of faith and the goods that stem from mutual love, and become angels.
