2529、“是的,我知道你作这事是心中正直”表示出于纯真和简单的良善如此思考。这从前面的阐述(2525,2526节)清楚可知,那里有同样的话。和前面不同,此处没有说“手洁”,这是为了一个秘密原因,即:“手洁”所表示的对真理的情感含有某种人的东西在里面。因为真理通过主生来所拥有的人身逐渐被灌输给祂;但良善唯独来自神性,这从良善与真理出现在理性或理性心智中的方式清楚看出来(2524节)。

2529. Yea, I know that in the uprightness of thy heart thou hast done this. That this signifies that it was so thought from innocence and from simple good, is evident from what was said above (n. 2525, 2526), where are the same words. That it is not also said, as above, "in the blamelessness of thy hands," is for the hidden reason that in the affection of truth (which is signified by the "blamelessness of the hands") there was something of the human; for truth was insinuated into the Lord also through the human of His birth, but good from the Divine alone; as is evident from the coming forth [existentia] of the rational as to good and as to truth (n. 2524).

2529. 'Yes, I know that in the uprightness of your heart you have done this' means that such thinking was the product of innocence and of simple good. This is clear from what has been stated above in 2525, 2526, where the same words occur. But no such mention is made here, as in that verse above, of 'in the blamelessness of my hands' for the hidden reason that the affection for truth, meant by 'the blamelessness of one's hands', has something of the human within it. For in the Lord also truth was implanted through the human that He had by birth; but good came from the Divine alone, as becomes clear from the rise of the rational as regards good and as regards truth, 2524.
