856、创世记8:5.水又渐消,直到十月;到了十月,就是那月的初一,山顶都露出了。
“水渐消”表示虚假开始被驱散;“十月”表示属于余剩的真理;“那月的初一,山顶都露出了”表示那时开始看得见的信之真理。

[NCE]856. Genesis 8:5. And the waters were going and disappearing till the tenth month; in the tenth [month], on the first of the month, the heads of the mountains appeared.
The waters were going and disappearing means that falsity began to be dispersed. The tenth month symbolizes the truth belonging to the remnant. On the first of the month the heads of the mountains appeared symbolizes religious truth that then began to be visible.

856. Verse 5. And the waters were going and failing until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared. "And the waters were going and failing" signifies that falsities began to disappear; "in the tenth month" signifies the truths which are of remains; "on the first day of the month the tops of the mountains appeared" signifies the truths of faith, which then began to be seen.

'The waters were going down and abating' means that falsities started to be dispersed. 'The tenth month' means the truths that are present within remnants. 'On the first of the month the tops of the mountains appeared' means the truths of faith which at that point began to be seen.

'Quod aquae essent eundo et deficiendo' significat quod falsa inciperent disparari: 'mensis decimus' significat vera quae reliquiarum: 'quod in primo mensis apparuerint capita montium' significant vera fidei quae tunc videri coeperunt.
