644. 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple. This symbolizes the angelic heaven.
The symbolic meaning of an angel or angels may be seen in nos. 5, 65, 170, 258, 342, 343, 344, 415, 465 above. Here it is the angelic heaven, because we are told that the angel came out of the temple, and a temple symbolizes heaven in respect to the church (nos. 191, 529, 585). For the church exists in heaven just as much as on earth.
644. [verse 15] 'And another angel went out of the temple' signifies the angelic heaven. What is signified by an angel' and 'angels' may be seen above (5, 65, 170, 258, 342, 344, 363, 415, 465). Here the angelic heaven is signified because it is said that he 'went out of the temple,' and by 'the temple' is signified heaven as to the Church (191, 529, 585). For there is a Church in the heavens equally as on earth (in terris).
644. Verse 15. And another angel went out from the temple, signifies the angelic heaven. What is signified by "an angel" and "angels," may be seen above (n. 5, 65, 170, 258, 342, 343, 344, 415, 465); here the angelic heaven, because it is said that he went out "from the temple," and by "the temple" is signified heaven as to the church, (191, 529, 585); for there is a church in the heavens equally as on earth.
644. (Vers. 15.)
