67. That God does not attend to man's actions, but only to his faith, is a new heresy which has sprung from the two former, and concerning which mention has already been made above, nos. 64-65 and, what is wonderful, when deeply examined and unravelled, as has been done by the shrewdest theologians of this age, it is seen to be a third offspring derived from faith alone out of that she-wolf, predestination, as a mother. Since, however, this heresy is insane, impious and Machiavellian, it has hitherto been kept enclosed, as it were, in the uterine coats, or after-birth, slipped forth from the mother after parturition, lest its hideousness should appear. But, in truth, its madness and impiety may be seen described and dispersed in THE APOCALYPSE REVEALED 463.
67.
