274. No one can grasp the truth of this from material light, since we do not learn the laws of the divine plan from that light.
274. The illumination afforded by Nature cannot enable a person to see that this is so, for this does not allow him to know the rules of God's order.
274. That such is the case, a man cannot comprehend from the light (lumen) of nature; for from that light he knows nothing respecting the laws of Divine Order.
