There are some who, when chastened, have received some ability for goodness. When they become impatient, and upset by the annoyance of chastening, then because there are some groups they can join in with while in certain states of mind, they are brought up for a while into heaven, and are among the happy, but they are brought away to the back, or backside of the head. 1748, 18 March.
1511. CERTAIN SPIRITS WERE ELEVATED INTO HEAVEN FOR A SHORT TIME AND AT ONCE SENT BACK
When certain spirits who have received some faculty of good upon being vastated become impatient and are affected by the hardships of vastation, they are carried away into heaven for a little while, and are amongst the happy; for in certain states they can be in such consociations. But they are carried away to the back or posterior part of the head. 1748, Mar. 18.
