Spiritual Experiences (Odhner and Nemitz translation 1998) 1571

1571. They are the kind who, in the life of the body, want to find out everything, whether it is their business or not-what is going on elsewhere, in other societies, or with certain individuals, and like to tell it to others. So they are gossips, some of whom doubtingly, others confidently, blurt out and spread around their information. And there are very many such spirits, whole troops of them. Inquisitive people.

Spiritual Experiences (Buss translation 1902) 1571

1571. There are such in the life of the body, persons who desire to know everything, whether it concern them or not, as, for instance, what is going on elsewhere, in societies, or among particular acquaintances, which they are prompted to relate to others. They are thus [a kind of gossiping] informers, of whom some doubtingly, others confidently, throw out and scatter their reports. There are vast numbers, whole cohorts, of such characters.

Experientiae Spirituales 1571 (original Latin 1748-1764)

Curiositates. 1
