201.一种恶臭。当信之真理与良善被破坏，由此被堵塞时，它们就由恶臭来代表，就像沼泽或腐尸的臭味。如果这一切是由人的乐趣引起的，情形也是如此。因此，当我夜间闭上双眼时，刺鼻的恶臭以同样的方式向我清楚显明。
201. A filthy odor
When religious truths and goodness are being broken down and thereby blocked off, then this is depicted by filthy odors, like that of a swamp, or of a corpse; so also if this is being done for the sake of one's pleasures. Therefore a similar offensive and filthy odor presented itself to me, when my eyes were closed, at nighttime.
201. A FOUL ODOR
When the truths and goods of faith are destroyed and thus obstructed, they are then represented by foul odors, like those of ponds and dead bodies; this is also the case if it happens owing to man's pleasures. Wherefore a noisome and foul odor was made manifest to me in like manner at night-time, my eyes being closed.
201. Odor foedus
Quando vera et bona fidei destruuntur et sic obstruuntur, tunc repraesentantur ea per odores foedos, instar stagni, ac instar cadaveris, ita quoque si propter voluptates hominis; quare odor teter et foedus similiter mihi est exhibitus, clausis oculis tempore noctis.
