2469. This raising up of the outer parts of the head, or taking away of the association with spirits in the outer parts is not allowed to be done with people on earth, because it is a danger to the life of their body. I asked them to do it with me, but this is how they replied.
2469. Such outer raising up of the head, or removal of societies of spirits in externals, is not granted amongst [cum] men, because it is dangerous [discrimen] to the life of man's [ejus] body. I told them that they could do so in my case; but such was the reply.
2469. Cum hominibus talis sublevatura exteriorum capitis seu ablatio societatis 1
spirituum in externis non conceditur, quia discrimen est vitae ejus corporis; dixi iis ut id cum me facerent sic, sed responsum mihi hoc.
