Spiritual Experiences (Odhner and Nemitz translation 1998) 2757

2757. Therefore what is inward is a soul of the outward things, for which reason all things to the very least that ever exist in the world can be said to have a soul, which is their beginning, hence a soul of every single one of all plants, a soul of each thing, and so on. 1748, 6 Aug.

Spiritual Experiences (Buss translation 1902) 2757

2757. Wherefore that which is interior is the soul of exteriors, for which reason each and all the things that are ever in the world may be said [to have] a soul, which is [its] principle - hence [there is] a soul in each thing of vegetables, a soul of a thing and the like. - 1748, August 6.

Experientiae Spirituales 2757 (original Latin 1748-1764)

2757. Quare quod interius est, est anima exteriorum, qua ratione omnibus et singulis, quae usquam in mundo sunt, dici potest anima, quod est principium, inde anima vegetabilium in singulis, anima rei, et talia. 1748, 6 Aug.
