Spiritual Experiences (Odhner and Nemitz translation 1998) 3102

3102. Moreover, the same one, although he was told that he was a spirit and the ability to reason was given him, still insisted on claiming that he was a person on earth, who sees, and hears, so he could hardly be brought to believing he was a spirit. For they can never have that reflection except from the Lord. 1748, 8 Sept.

Spiritual Experiences (Buss translation 1902) 3102

3102. Moreover the same [spirit], although told that he was a spirit, and the faculty of reasoning given him, still persisted in saying that he who sees and hears, is a man: so that he could scarcely be brought to believe that [he was] a spirit, for they never have [any] reflection but what the Lord gives them. - 1748, September 8).

Experientiae Spirituales 3102 (original Latin 1748-1764)

1748, 8 Sept.
