About these I was prompted to say that such things are imaginations, or imaginative portrayals that symbolize heavenly and spiritual truths, and are thus displayed to angels and angelic spirits. So they are not fantasies, for they feel them and are most deeply delighted by them, and this delight, and happiness, cannot come from any other source that the truths of faith, which are in them. 1748, 15 Sept.
