3205. About sirens
There were many sirens with me who were afterwards pictured as bodies twisted around so that as far as their head they were toward me, and their other part toward Gehenna, so those who let themselves be enticed by them pass over from their sweet charms to their rear parts, where Gehenna was. 1748, 19 Sept.
3205. CONCERNING SIRENS.
There were many sirens with me who were afterwards represented by inverted bodies; so that as far as the head they were towards me, and the other part towards Gehenna; so they who suffer themselves to be enticed [pelliceri, I think] by them pass from their sweet [flatteries] to their posteriors, where was Gehenna. - 1748, September 19.
3205. De sirenibus 1
Sirenes plures erant apud me, quae postea repraesentatae sunt per inversa corpora, sic ut capite tenus versus me essent, et altera parte versus Gehennam, ita qui ab iis se pellici 2
patiuntur, a dulcibus eorum transeunt ad posteriora eorum, ubi erat Gehenna. 1748, 19 Sept.
