3295. About the sea underfoot
Under the feet is a deep sea, with breakers, as it appears, to which certain ones are let down, and because there is phobia for the deep, they become horrified lest they be cast into the sea. For whom it is, or who are cast into it, is not yet clear to me. 1748, 23 Sept.
3295. CONCERNING THE SEA UNDER THE FEET.
Under the feet is a deep sea with waves, as [so] it appears; to which, some are let down, and because there is a horror of the deep, they are thus horribly afraid lest they be cast into the sea. It is not yet apparent to me for whom it is, or who are cast therein. - 1748, September 23.
