3412. Therefore this earth has so much passed over into externals and so much inwardly into cruel thoughts, that externals are by themselves, and speak nicely, so that no one notices that the internals are thinking cruel thoughts - so its last times are at hand, unless they repent.
3412. Wherefore this world has now wandered so far into externals, as so far into cruel thoughts, inwardly that externals are by themselves, and speak well so that no one apperceives that [ut, I think] internals think cruelties; wherefore the last times of this [world] are at hand, unless they return to reason.
3412. Quare haec tellus nunc tantum in externa evasit, et tantum in cogitationes crudeles intus, ut externa per se sint, et loquantur bene, sic ut nullus appercipiat, et interna cogitent crudelia, quare ultima ejus tempora adsunt, nisi resipiscant.
