3673. About the pulse of the adulterous and cruel
I was allowed to feel the pulse of adulterers and the cruel, coming from those overhead, where David also was, and noticed that it fell toward the left side, outside, so that it was beating like a heart, only at the very outside of the skin of the chest. I felt this pulsation as being not within the body, but thus outside of it, consequently not in the grand human being, but outside of it. 1748, 24 Oct.
3673. CONCERNING THE PULSE OF THE ADULTEROUS AND CRUEL.
It was given me to observe the pulse of adulterers and the cruel from the case of those who were above the head, where David also was, [and I noticed] that it fell outwardly on the left side, so that like the heart it caused only the most exterior surface of the skin to pulsate. This pulsation was felt by me as not being within the body, but without; wherefore it is not in but out of the Grand Man. - 1748, October 24.
