The speech of angels is most expressive and laden with meaning, and takes place by wonderful variations of light, by means of which they present colorful imagery. The light itself that is in the mental imagery and accompanies it, expresses all the differences of feelings, and does this so precisely, that the character of the feeling shows at once. I have spoken with them in this language on several occasions.

The speech of angels is most expressive and most significant, and is carried on also by wonderful variations of light, whereby they present their ideas variegated by light. The light itself, which is in their ideas, and which attends them, expresses all the differences of affections, and this so accurately, that the nature of the affection is immediately manifest. I have also spoken with them several times by this kind of speech.

Loquela angelorum expressivissima est, et significativissima, et fit quoque per lucis variationes mirabiles, per quas sistunt ideas luce variegatas, ipsa lux quae inest ideis, et quae comitatur ideas, exprimit omnes differentias affectionum, et hoc tam accurate, ut pateat illico indoles affectionis, hac loquela etiam cum illis locutus aliquoties sum.
