4433. On the common good
I spoke by thought transfer with angels about the common good, saying that one who in the life of the body is for the common good, is also in the other life for the common good. The common good in the other life is the Kingdom of the Lord, thus it is for the Kingdom of the Lord, consequently for the Lord, Who is the all in all things of his Kingdom. Therefore, in the measure of one's zeal in the world for the common good, in the same measure one is zealous for the Kingdom of the Lord.
4433. CONCERNING THE COMMON GOOD.
I spoke with the angels cogitatively concerning the common good, to the effect that he who, in the life of the body, is for the common good, is also for the common good in the other life; the common good in the other life is the kingdom of the Lord; and he is thus for the kingdom of the Lord, consequently for the Lord himself, who is the all in all things of his kingdom. Hence, how much zeal anyone has in the world for the common good, so much he has for the kingdom of the Lord.
