4640. Between the third heaven and the second, there is a middle one. The first and the second heaven are joined together by the middle. The inner part of the third heaven is portrayed [by] Judah, the outer by Joseph, the middle by Benjamin; the inner part of the second heaven by Israel, [its] outer by Jacob; in the lowest or first heaven are spirits who are simple and to whom the outward human elements correspond, such as the skin.

[In] the third heaven, the internal is represented [by] Judah, the external by Joseph, the medium by Benjamin. [In] the second heaven, the internal [is representd] by Israel, the external by Jacob. In the lowest or first heaven, are spirits who are simple, to whom correspond the exteriors of man, as, for instance, the skins.
4640. Inter tertium coelum et secundum, est medium, per medium est conjunctio, tertium coelum internum repraesentatur [per] Jehudam, externum per Josephum, medium per Benjaminem, secundum coelum internum per Israelem, externum per Jacobum, in ultimo seu primo coelo sunt spiritus, qui simplices, et quibus correspondent exteriora hominis sicut cuticulae.
