4649. About the hells
There are sometimes bubbling outbursts, expulsions so to speak, through the rear side, which are efforts [of the hells] to struggle out, but they are kept back by the Lord. And those from whom such outbursts come are sent down into the deeper parts and also severely punished by their own [people].
4649. CONCERNING THE HELLS.
Sometimes there are burstings forth, as it were expulsions, by way of the back, which are efforts [on the part of the hells] to struggle forth; but they are repressed by the Lord, and those from whom such efforts come are let down into deeper places, and are also grievously punished there by their associates.
4649. De infernis
Sunt quandoque ebullitiones sicut ejectiones per dorsum, quae sunt conatus enitendi, sed reprimuntur a Domino, et illi a quibus talia, in profundiora demittuntur, et quoque a suis ibi graviter puniuntur.
