At the left a little toward the front there is a hell where those are who committed bizarre and evil deeds, called "deeds of the night", which ought not to be disclosed. An ocean of fire, as it were, was seen rushing toward them, tumbling and rolling them around, and hurling them into the deep.
4657. CONCERNING HELL.
To the left, a little towards the front, is the hell where those are who have committed enormous crimes, which are called deeds of night, and which ought not to be disclosed. There was seen, as it were, an ocean of fire rushing thither, and enfolding them, and afterwards, rolling them along, it discharged them into an abyss.
4657. De inferno
Ad sinistrum paulisper antrorsum est infernum ubi illi qui opera enormia, quae vocantur opera noctis fecerunt, quae non debent revelari, visus est quasi ignis oceanus illuc appellens, et illos involvens, ac postea devolvendo eos emisit in profundum.
