There is a large city on the mountain, widely spread out and with an immense number [of inhabitants]. And at the center is a quite lofty height which is called the mount of assembly. In the part further away from the Lord as the sun is the side of the north." The height of this mountain is the same as the height of the sun, which is the Lord, completely in agreement with what is related by the prophet about Lucifer, who is Babel [Isa. 14:13, 14].
4964. The functions of the rest follow in order as they stand there. Upon the mountain is a great city of wide extent, also an immense multitude; and, in the midst thereof, quite an eminent height, called the Mount of Assembly, in the part more remote from the Lord as a sun: it is the side of the north. The height of that mountain is the same as the height of the sun, which is the Lord altogether according to that which is recorded by the prophet 1concerning Lucifer, who is Babel.
