From a certain hell under the feet I heard them wailing that in fantasy they swallowed them and threw up, and that they know no otherwise than that this is real and consequently suffer various torments, besides vicious insults.

I heard, from a certain hell under the feet, some lamenting, that, by means of phantasies, they are swallowed up and cast out; also, that they do not know otherwise than that it is [really] so; and so they endure various torments, besides insults.
