5146. From this it can be established that there are zones in the other life, varying as to heat and cold, and as to light and shade. But in place of heat and cold, there is love, and in place of light and shade, there is the faith that results from love.
5146. From this it may be manifest, that zones exist in the other life, with difference of heat and cold and of light and shade. But, instead of heat and cold there is love, and instead of light and shade, is faith derived from love.
5146. Inde constare potest, quod zonae dentur in altera vita cum diversitate quoad calorem et frigus, et quoad lucem et umbram, sed loco caloris et frigoris est amor, et loco lucis et umbrae est fides inde.
