Spiritual Experiences (Odhner and Nemitz translation 1998) 5627

5627. They do not know what spring, summer, fall, and winter are, nor what morning, mid-day, evening, and night are, yet they do have a notion of heat and cold, as well as of light and shade, but not from time, but from their state of life. Besides this, they see everything there as in the world, but still do not perceive them according to spatial distances, but according to the state of their life.

Spiritual Experiences (Buss translation 1902) 5627

5627. Neither do they know what spring, summer, autumn and winter are; nor what morning, noon, evening and night are; still, they have notion of heat and cold, also of light and shade - not, however, from time, but from the state of their life. Besides, they see all things there as in the world: still, however, they do not perceive them according to space, but according to the states of their life.

Experientiae Spirituales 5627 (original Latin 1748-1764)

5627. Nec sciunt quid ver, aestas, autumnus, hyems, nec quid mane, meridies, vespera, nox, notionem usque caloris et frigoris habent, tum lucis et umbrae, sed non ex tempore, sed ex statu vitae suae, praeterea vident omnia ibi sicut in mundo, sed usque non percipiunt illa secundum spatia, sed secundum status vitae eorum.
