697. About admission into the inward heaven 1
It is said in the Word [Matt. 25:10-12, Luke 13:25], that the door was closed and they could no longer be let in; also, that they had come too late, and knocked, so they were not admitted. How these matters stand was shown to me vividly.

697. CONCERNING ADMISSION INTO THE INTERIOR HEAVEN
It is said in the Word that the door was closed, and that no more can be admitted, also that they came too late and knocked, but were not admitted [see Matt. xxv]. How the case is in regard to these things was shown me to the life.
697. De admissione in coelum interius
Dicitur in Verbo [Matth. XXV: 10-12, Luc. XIII: 25], quod clausa sit janua, nec amplius intromitti possent, tum quod serius venerint, atque pulsaverint, sic non admissi, haec 1
mihi ad vivum ostensa sunt 2
