2902、论述的主题是逝去的神性真理(1-3节);主又建立了一个新教会(4节);祂被友善地接受(5-6节);这对祂来说是一种喜乐(7, 12节);他们最初的状态是模糊的,因为他们以为仁之良善和信之真理来自他们自己(8-11, 14-15节);但他们被教导,良善和真理不是来自他们自己,而是来自主(13节);他们以这种方式被救赎(16节);并重生(17-18节);因此,一个新教会被形成(19节);是从外邦人当中形成的(20节)。

2902. Truth Divine, that it expired, is treated of (verses 1-3); and that the Lord set up again a new church (verse 4); and was kindly received (verses 5, 6); from which there was joy (verses 7, 12); that their first state was obscure, and they believed the good of charity and the truth of faith to be from themselves (verses 8-11, 14-15); but they were instructed that good and truth were not from themselves, but from the Lord (verse 13); and thus they were redeemed (verse 16); and regenerated (verses 17, 18); and thus there was a new church (verse 19); from the Gentiles (verse 20).

2902. Divine truth breathing its last is described in verses 1-3, and the Lord's establishment of a new Church in verse 4. He was received kindly, verses 5, 6, and this gave rise to joy, verses 7, 12. Their first state was one of obscurity when they believed that the good which flows from charity, and the truth of faith, originated in themselves, verses 8-11, 14, 15. But they were taught that good and truth did not originate in themselves but in the Lord, verse 13. In this way they were redeemed, verse 16, and regenerated, verses 17, 18. Thus a new Church was formed, verse 19, from gentiles, verse 20.
