Apocalypse Explained (Tansley translation 1923) 308

308. Saith unto me, Weep not. That this signifies lest there should be grief thence, is evident from the signification of weeping, as denoting grief of heart; as above, n. 306, where also the cause thereof may be seen.

Apocalypse Explained (Whitehead translation 1912) 308

308. Saith unto me, Weep not, signifies there need be no grief on that account. This is evident from the signification of "weeping," as being grief of heart, as above (n. 306), where also the reason for this may be seen.

Apocalypsis Explicata 308 (original Latin 1759)

308. "Dicit mihi, Ne fleto." - Quod significet ne sit dolor inde, constat ex significatione "flere", quod sit dolor cordis, ut supra (n. 306); ob quam causam, videatur etiam ibi.
