437. Verse 6. Of the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Naphtali were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasseh were sealed twelve thousand. "Of the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand" signifies charity towards the neighbour, and that all who are in that are in heaven, and come into heaven. "Of the tribe of Naphtali were sealed twelve thousand," signifies regeneration and temptation. "Of the tribe of Manasseh were sealed twelve thousand," signifies the goods of life thence; and that all these are in the second heaven, and come into that heaven.

6. "Of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand sealed," signifies charity towards the neighbor, and that all who are in it are in heaven and come into heaven n. 438, "of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand sealed," signifies regeneration and temptation n. 439; "of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand sealed," signifies the goods of life therefrom n. 440. And that all these are in the second heaven, and come into that heaven (n. 441).
437. Versus 6. "Ex tribu Ascheris duodecim millia signati; ex tribu Naphthali duodecim millia signati; ex tribu Menassis duodecim millia signati."
6. "Ex tribu Ascheris duodecim millia signati", significat charitatem erga proximum, et quod omnes qui in illa sunt, in caelo sint et in caelum veniant [n. 438] ; "ex tribu Naphthali duodecim millia signati" significat regenerationem et tentationem [n. 439] ; "ex tribu Menassis duodecim millia signati", Significat bona vitae inde [n. 440] . Et quod omnes illi in caelo secundo sint et in id caelum veniant [n. 441] .
