528. Verse 13. And I beheld, and I heard one angel flying in the midst of heaven, saying with a great voice, Woe, woe, woe, to them that dwell on the earth, by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels which are about to sound!- "And I beheld, and I heard one angel flying in the midst of heaven," signifies the Lord enlightening all in the heavens concerning the state of the church at its end; "saying with a great voice," signifies in manifestation; "Woe, woe, woe, to them that dwell on the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels which are about to sound," signifies grievous lamentation over the changes of the state of the church, on account of the turning away from good and truth, and thence damnation.

13. "And I saw, and I heard one angel flying in midheaven," signifies the Lord enlightening all in the heavens respecting the state of the church at its end n. 529; "saying with a great voice," signifies manifestation (n. 530); "Woe, woe, woe, to those that dwell on the earth, from the remaining voices of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound," signifies grievous lamentation over the changes of state of the church, on account of the aversion from good and truth, and consequent damnation (n. 531, 532).

"Et vidi et audivi unum angelum volantem in medio caeli, dicentem voce magna, Vae, vae, vae habitantibus super terra ex reliquis vocibus tubae trium angelorum futurorum clangere."
13. "Et vidi et audivi unum angelum volantem in medio caeli", significat Dominum illustrantem omnes in caelis de statu ecclesiae in fine ejus [n. 529] ; "dicentem voce magna", significat manifestationem [n. 530] ; "Vae, vae, vae habitantibus super terra ex reliquis vocibus tubae trium angelorum futurorum clangere", significat gravem lamentationem super mutationes status ecclesiae propter aversionem a bono et vero et inde damnationem [n. 531, 532] .
