19. Some of them actually did not want to look like people the way spirits from other planets do, but like crystal balls instead. The reason they wanted to look like this even though they did not is that in the other life knowledge that transcends what is physical is represented by crystals.
19. Some of them do not want to be seen as human beings like the spirits from other worlds, but as crystal globes. The reason why they want to be seen thus, although they do not succeed, is that in the next life knowledge of non-material matters is represented by crystals.
19. Some of them are also unwilling to appear as men, like the spirits of other earths, and would rather appear as crystalline globes. The reason why they are desirous to appear so, although they do not so appear, is because the knowledges of things immaterial are represented in the other life by crystals.
