1012. About the gallbladder
Those constituting the province of the gallbladder are located at the back, and those who drift into this province are sent there, or come there unawares, for it is a characteristic of the internal organs to attract the blood, and in the case of the gallbladder, the used blood.
1012. CONCERNING THE GALL-BLADDER
Those who constitute the province of the gall-bladder are at the back. Those who flow into that province are sent there, or come there unawares, for it is a property of the viscera of the body to attract the blood; thus the worn-out blood is attracted into the gall-bladder.
1012. De vesica fellis
Ii qui constituunt provinciam vesicae fellis a tergo sunt, quique alluunt in eam provinciam, ii eo mittuntur, seu illuc nescientes veniunt, nam viscerum 1
corporis proprium est, quod attrahatur sanguis, ita in vesicam fellis is qui obsoletus est.
