1143. After this, however, spirits who hear, open their minds to, and love inward things, were depicted to me by a girl dressed in shining white, at the threshold of young womanhood, playing a musical instrument. For this is how spirits' clothing becomes shining white, and they are brought back into the flower of youth [adorned] with garlands and heavenly decorations.
1143. But afterwards, the spirits who hear, admit, and love interior things were represented to me by a young girl in the first state of her maidenhood, clothed in white, and playing a musical instrument. For thus, indeed, the garments of such spirits become white, and they themselves are remitted into the flower of their youth with garlands and their heavenly decorations.
1143. At vero spiritus, qui interiora audiunt, admittunt, et amant, postea mihi repraesentati sunt per puellam candidi vestitus, in sua prima virginea aetate, quae tractabat musicale instrumentum, sic etenim vestis fit candida, et in florem suae aetatis remittuntur, cum corollis et coelestibus suis decoramentis.
