Of course, this is overlooked in women up to a youthful age, but if they continue on in this way into more adult years and the later stages of life, when they are capable of better understanding, when the ardent longing for marriage has passed, then they develop a nature that remains after death.

This is, indeed, excusable in women up to the age of young womanhood, but if they continue in this way during more adult years and the later part of life, when they are able to understand differently, and when the ardor and desire of marriage have ceased, they then contract a nature which remains after this life.
