1267. About the Mucus of the nostrils
There are those who relate to the sticky, phlegmy excretions, that is, those that are discharged from the brain through the meninges and bundled tissues into the nostrils, and at the same time into the little glands of the nostril, and which then thicken and cling.
1267. CONCERNING THE MUCUS OF THE NOSTRILS
There are spirits who relate to the phlegmy or viscous excretions, namely, those which are excreted from the brain through the meninges and the fasciculated fibers into the nostrils, as well also through the little glands of the nostrils, which are then thickened and made more sticky.
1267. De Muco narium
Sunt qui excretiones pituitosas seu 1
viscosa referunt, quae nempe e cerebro per meninges et fibras fasciculatas in nares excernuntur, tum simul glandulas naris, et quae tunc densantur et tenacescunt.
