Therefore he was afterwards conducted to the swamp that is almost in the opposite direction, and indeed in front toward the left, thus on a level with the body. He was then shown the monstrous and dreadful creatures that were round about the swamp.
1379. CONCERNING THE LAKE
He was therefore afterwards led to the lake which is almost directly opposite, and thus in a plane with the body in front towards the left. The monstrous and dreadful things which were around the lake were then shown him.
