1411. As for the direction and extent of unrolling and rolling up, this varied. For first she unrolled toward the lower earth, as said, above the roofs of the woodcutters, returned again, then without further wrapping, it was as if she were just thrown toward me, the whole middle part of the veil flowing freely. Then she went on toward the regions in front at a level slightly above the head. So it varied.
1411. As regards the turnings and modes of the rolling and unrolling there was variety. For, as said above, she first unrolled herself towards the lower earth above the roofs of the wood-cutters. She then returned to me, and this time merely by projection without any enfolding, the whole middle portion of the veil flowing freely; then she projected herself towards the front on a plane a little above the head. In this manner did she make variations.
